The UM Library provides the informational resources and services to support teaching, learning and research. Through the UM online catalogue students can access to databases in different languages.
The UM database contains 85,910 records (books, book chapters, articles, DVD, CD, E-books, maps, magazine titles).
The UM is the legal responsible in Uruguay of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Collection which covers annual World and Regional Outlooks, Reports on Global Financial Stability and Statistics on Direction of Trade, Balance of Payments, Government Finance and International Finance.
The UM Library is linked to the Timbo and Dialnet Portals and students can access to JStor, EBSCO, Scopus, ScienceDirect, IOP Science, Sage, Emerald, Biblioteca Cochrane Plus, OvidSP, JoVE, Reaxys, Springer, Host, IEEE and other journals.
The records in the field of Economics are registered in the collective portal managed by the Uruguayan Central Bank (BCU).
The UM has a Research Center with collections of renowned Latin-American historians and scholars.
