Careers University of London

In 2015, the Universidad de Montevideo launched the London Study Program, which enables students from the School of Business Administration & Economics to graduate in Banking and Finance or Business and Management from the University of London.

UM students taking the University of London International Programs are evaluated under the same academic standards of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). They are able to complete the program with the support of UM faculty members.

The LSE allows students to get the best of both British and local systems of education. Also, having a degree from the University of London gives a competitive edge in the job market and opens up opportunities to work internationally.

The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is responsible for the academic contents of the new career alternatives that can be studied at the UM. It is also an international academic benchmark in the area of social sciences, with 16 Nobel Prizes in economics, literature and peace and 34 heads of state among its alumni and faculty. According to QS World University Rankings, School of Social Sciences and Business of LSE ranks second worldwide, after Harvard University.
