Pedro Garra, a graduate student in the IEEM MBA Program, competed in the world wide tournament Sailing J24. He compared the directing of a sailboat in the ocean with working with a group of people in a company.

Both father of the household, athlete and project manager in Schandy, graduating with a degree in Mechanical engineering from the Udelar, Pablo Garra went onto continue his studies in 2005, where he received a Master in Business and Administration at the UM Business School.

In the following interview published by Socrates, the IEEM magazine, Pablo Garra explains the similarities between sailing and the way a company must work as a team, which is like driving or steering a large sail boat.
