27/01/2010 - Fellowships for doctoral students in transatlantic history at the University of Texas at Arlington
We are proud to announce the availability of 6 doctoral fellowships for up to six years. These fellowships carry a stipend of $15,000 and provide full tuition remission. Applicants are required to hold a BA in history or a related field and they are expected to work on a PhD topic in transatlantic history.
Our unique doctoral program offers students new ways of studying history. Unlike traditional programs defined by political boundaries, UT Arlington’s program explores the interactions and cross-cultural fusions of Europe, Africa, and the Americas (North & South) over the last six centuries.
Students who hold a BA in history or related fields are encouraged to apply for our program. The deadline for applications is March 1, 2010.
